Ukraine Fundraiser Totals £1600

After hearing news of the tragic events in Ukraine, the band felt compelled to contribute in our own small way to the fundraising efforts being carried out. On Saturday 14th May, at St. Catherine of Sienna church, Richmond, Sheffield the band, joined by Dronfield and Lowedges Community Band held a concert in aid of the Ukraine appeal.

The concert was a great success, and alongside a fantastic raffle organised by the bands Flugel player, Charlotte as well as other stalls, and support from members of the church, raised a phenomenal £1600!

The day was also a very special day for the bands repiano player, John, seeing him share the stage with his son Ben for the first time, in Ben's first concert with the community band
