November News Update​

The band have been out in force over the last few weeks entertaining the local community with our 'Proms to Poppies' programme. From wartime favourites, to the music of the Last Night of the Proms, audiences enjoyed a varied selection of music, including moments of reflection and our own poignant tribute to those who have served in the Armed Forces, some from our own band.

We were also honoured to lead the Remembrance Day parade in Bolsover on Sunday 13th November, where it was humbling to see such a large turnout from the local community, remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in war. A small group also attended the Killamarsh service to provide hymns for the wreath laying.
